I am aware that my lifetime is located between the worlds, that is, between what was and what will be. I am a bridge between Spirit and Matter, between Heaven and Hell. My life is a rare opportunity to lend my consciousness to the potential of greatness... While Corporate Jesus is pulling Santa's sleigh, so many of us can see St.Nick is wearing no clothes. We feel the desperate pull of the fertile dark, hear the midnight whispers of the fallow land, and the call is only getting louder. In my deep listening I hear the clear words of our Great Mother, Gaia, guiding me again and again to stand bare footed on the dirt, breathing in fully my absolute belonging to this world. I don't want to resist being an American during the Holidays. I just want to take back my Holy Days. And so I have. Over the years my friends and family do our best to remind each other of the riches that Fall and Winter have to teach us. With gratitude and generosity, rest and reflection. Creating new rituals that honor hibernation and contemplation, we gather and celebrate in a way that is right for us. And so I invite you to join me in taking back your Holy Days, whatever that means for you. No matter your religious or spiritual beliefs, if you have any. No matter your family's traditions or absence of them. No more slogging along yet secretly judging the phantasm that is the Holiday Season, stuffing down your emotional turmoil and depression. Let's be a living invitation to something new, something real to us, something beautiful. Bring the grief of the family drama. Bring the quiet curiosity of the cold winter nights. Bring your secret joy. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day, and I'm facilitating a Gratitude Gathering online, as a part of the Temple of Soil, a brand new Church dedicated to living in harmony with Earth's natural cycles, and pledging to become better stewards of Mother Earth. Join the Zoom call at 9a PST/ 12 Noon EST/ 5p London What a beautiful way to start your day with Gratitude and help set the tone for a profoundly nourishing Holy Day Season! I hope to see you there. Share this invitation with a loved one who you know would appreciate some like-hearted connection. PS- It's a good idea to bring a glass of water and your journal. PPS- Please be on time. -Adey
