What is my purpose?
"There are no paths. Paths are made by walking." -Antonio Machado
All of my clients want to know this.
At every Wishcraft this question is asked:
”What is my purpose?”
First, I acknowledge the courage to be vulnerable enough to ask this.
Let me also emphasize WHY this is a popular question and theme at this time.
Ready?
We are orphans with amnesia, with scary baby sitters.
Talk about trauma on trauma. Our trauma has trauma!
All of us. Every one of us. Not only have we survived a massive cataclysm that rocked us to our DNA, and is challenging to remember let alone heal, but our “baby sitters” who stepped in at that time have less than pure intentions with our vulnerable minds and hearts.
Yikes.
Yet we have learned so much despite the odds and we have outgrown our overlords.
In fact, we can see the wolf’s ears peeking out from Grandma’s bonnet- and it’s time to wake from our cozy yet dangerous slumber and inherit the legacy that Grandma left us.
AND SO IT IS that we recall our true nature, our real purpose, remembering our actual parentage, lineage and ancestry. We are awakening to our human evolution and connection to the Star Family and elemental belonging as Gaians.
So. What is our purpose?
To observe our personal awakening as the veil is dropped before our eyes.
To channel our fear, grief, pain and outrage into HUMAN innovations, transmuting the nightmare into beauty. Calling forth brilliance from suffering.
Electrical engineers call it “charge collapse” or “negentropy” or my personal fav, “non-destructive self- implosion.” Alchemists call it transforming lead into gold, or creating the “philosopher’s stone.” Quantum Physics calls it “observing the observed.”
My HusBear calls it “Endogon.”
But it’s all the same thing. Compost the ugly and outdated, create fuel for the harmonious and generative.
Negotiate our perspective. If we don’t have context, we can’t see the bigger puzzle and we lose sight and momentum. Wandering into the middle of the movie and wondering what’s going on…
We become disinterested and distracted, we forget.
Our purpose is to take a step back from our emotions and recognize what they are revealing to us. Allow our feels to transport us into a state of profound healing, let the waves inspire us to create NEW actions in the direction of our dreams, and move on.
Our innate, creative impulses are the secret sauce of thriving as a human.
Dance, sing, write, clean, cook, behold, connect, reach out, build! These are the precious gems borne from this limited engagement. We only bask in rainbow glow after enduring the storm. Your soul family awaits the invitation to your biggest dream.
But that’s me, ranting about what I see, analyzing our situation from an Oracle’s POV…
How does that relate to you? How does this affect your journey, your pain, your challenges right now? How are we connected in this titanic evolutionary shift?
Maybe we aren’t. Maybe it’s all a puff piece, something for me to get out of my head for the sake of working it out.
But maaaybe……
on a subtle energy level the act of metabolizing my life via writing and sharing my thoughts feeds the eternal evolution feedback loop as our galaxy spirals through space at 1.3 million miles per hour, thus culminating in THE contribution that matters.
The action of inquiry IS the purpose.
Do our lives unfold according to the questions we ask?
”We ourselves create the reality of human experience with the questions we ask and the procedures that we undertake to find the answers to them.”
--John Wheeler
So. My purpose is to transform my trauma by feeeeling it all the way through; expressing it through my human biology (shaking, kickboxing, tai chi, sex, painting my kitchen,) distilling the trauma into more refined levels of awareness and birth a more unified, nay, a more whole version of myself.
Living by the principals of my enchantment. Creating from a clean slate, a fresh canvas, a less -limited perspective of what’s possible.
Asking better questions, facing better challenges.
PS:
If you want to dive into this from another angle, check out my HusBear’s substack to get nerdy AF. The concept of perpetual evolution is embedded in his new endeavor, and he created this epic symbol to represent this remembering.
